The role is responsible for overseeing the entire process of producing food products from sourcing raw materials to packaging the finished goods. Food Production Manager play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs efficiently, meets quality standards, and complies with regulatory requirements.

Van Sales Manager

About the job

ARAMTEC is looking for a result driven Van Sales Manager with excellent communication and team management skills to manage and oversee the distribution of premium Brands throughout the UAE. The successful candidate will be an on-site Van Sales Manager and will be based in Dubai, working full time to build, mentor and lead a team of Van Sales Representatives who distribute food products to retail stores, supermarkets and other food establishments throughout the UAE.

Main responsibility would be to manage the Van Sales Team and ensure budgeted numbers are exceeded for Sales Value, GP, and market coverage (distribution levels) through effective monitoring, coaching and control.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for ensuring all targets and objectives assigned by the Line Manager including Sales Targets, Brand volume Targets, and distribution objectives (increased market coverage) are achieved to ensure optimal business efficiency.

Responsible for ensuring Van sales reps follow route plan to maximize sales and productivity.

 Manage the sales force and monitor their performance providing guidance, assistance, and motivation to increase effectiveness.

Responsible to ensure that all Cash receivables numbers and figures of all the Vansales team is up to date, relevant and in order; daily checks and follow up to be done on all cash transactions of the Van Sales team are collected in due time as per credit period. 

Responsible for focusing on increasing the market coverage of all UAE areas; focusing on opening Cash Accounts.

Ensure monthly Competition Activities and Market trends are reported to management in a report format; information to be collated from the Van Sales team.

Ensure the sales team continuously communicates all stock issues, pricing fluctuations and competitor activities.

Ensure that the sales force is properly equipped, coached, and motivated to ensure objectives are achieved.

Conduct regular market visits with all sales personnel to assist them in managing customer issues, improving performance, and providing guidance and training.

Recommend and control credit limits and adherence to terms. Recommend changes to credit limits and assist sales force achieve the company credit to sales ratio target.

Conduct annual and six-monthly appraisals for all direct reports so that performance is tracked and discrepancies in performance are rectified at the earliest.

Any other related duties/projects assigned by the GM from time to time to meet business exigencies.
