Business Development manager
Responsibilities
In the Consumer Business Group, we strive to maximize consumer experience through all potential consumer touchpoints within the Device Ecosystem. We believe high consumer satisfaction is vital and stems from key Ecosystem Partnerships. Development of these integral partnerships is possible by investing in the right talent to lead and become an expert in a specific industry vertical.
In Business development role, you will cultivate and strengthen AppGallery partnerships, bring top applications onboard and be responsible for these 360 partnership by industry/verticals.
You will work alongside cross-functional BD’s, DTSEs (Developer technical support Engineers), and Ads operation teams to provide partners with a smooth growth journey within the Huawei Ecosystem. You will manage application integration with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), AppGallery operations.
1. Responsible for the development of Huawei HMS ecosystem in Kuwait, promptly identifying and facilitating APP developers to resolve experience issues.
2. Responsible for expanding and connecting with local card organizations and banks in Kuwait, optimizing the local payment experience on devices.
3. Capable of establishing connections with local medical organizations (MOH), promoting cooperation on health innovation research projects for innovative products.
4. Preference given to candidates with experience in banking, operator, and government
5. Preference given to candidates with experience in business, software, and hardware ecosystem development.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ work experience in a local market and related environment capacity.
• Advanced partnership skills, and people management skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to lead effectively across functions and cultures with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to critically analyze partners needs and goals, creative problem-solving skills & strategically plan complex organizational & functional interactions. Ability to manage multiple and changing processes and priorities.
• Coordinate multiple and conflicting demands. Ability to meet deadlines. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to work with ambiguity and try new solutions to existing or new problems.
