Procurement Manager (EMDAD)

Job Description

The Procurement Manager oversees and manages procurement operations for the Emdad project, including monitoring material requisitions, handling purchase orders, coordinating with business units, negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms, and ensuring timely execution of procurement activities in line with company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor procurement team operations, verify purchase requisitions, and float online enquiries to vendors.

• Review supplier quotations and recommend based on commercial and technical factors.

• Maintain updated procurement documents and manuals.

• Implement procurement strategies to ensure security of supply and value for money.

• Prepare comparative statements for management review.

• Monitor contractor RFPs for compliance with tenders and budgeted BOQs.

• Negotiate final prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

• Ensure timely delivery and required quality/quantity of materials.

• Expand vendor database and monitor supplier performance.

• Coordinate with Finance for timely supplier payments.

• Identify cost reduction opportunities to meet financial goals.

• Analyze market and delivery trends to enhance procurement processes.

• Maintain accurate procurement records for accountability and audits.

• Resolve supplier payment and delivery issues.

• Monitor inventory and transfer surplus materials as per internal policies.

• Liaise with support functions to ensure accurate PR to PO process.

• Complete additional tasks assigned by management.

• Establish procurement KPIs to measure cost savings, ICV contribution, and internal efficiency.
