Role & Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in project delivery.

• Review bills of quantities, rate analysis, and other commercial project activities.

• Assist in reviewing and certifying contractor and consultant payments.

• Provide quantity surveying support for projects.

• Assist in all pre- and post-contract functions.

• Prepare/review Bills of Quantities in a timely manner.

• Verify claims, payments, variations, addenda, and extensions of time in line with client policies.

• Coordinate with the client’s Contracts Department and other stakeholders to close actions.

• Liaise with consultant/contractor QS teams.

• Capture lessons learned from cost, financial, and procurement processes to improve delivery.

• Provide contract administration and cost reporting support.

• Review and recommend payments promptly.

• Track commercial actions to ensure timely completion.

• Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years’ post-graduate experience.

• Proven experience in tunnel or deep excavation projects.

• Strong background in major infrastructure projects (preferred: Drainage Pipelines, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, TSE Pipelines, Surface Groundwater Systems, Underground Services, Civil Structures).

• Experience in contract management and dispute resolution.

• Familiarity with Design-Bid-Build and Design & Build contracts.

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

• Valid driving license.

• Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) preferred.
