A Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch

of goods, ensuring that productivity targets are met and that all warehouse processes operate

smoothly. Below is a general job description for a Warehouse Officer:

Key responsibilities:-

1. Operations Management: This includes directing daily warehouse activities encompassing receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch.

2. Inventory & Logistics: The candidate will need to manage stock levels, implement stock rotation (FIFO), track materials, and coordinate transportation to ensure cost-effective delivery.

3. Team Leadership: Responsibilities include, training, motivating, and scheduling warehouse staff, resolving any issues, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

4. *Ledger Expertise*: Proficiency in Excel is required as the warehouse office will need to update the ledger daily.

5. *Compliance & Safety*: It is important to ensure adherence to health, safety (OSHA), and security standards while handling hazardous materials as applicable.

6. *Reporting*: The role will involve generating regular reports on inventory status, dead stock, and overall productivity.

7. *Telecom Specifics*: Managing the storage and tracking of specialized telecom equipment like antennas, RRUs, Wireless Cards/Boards, MW Cards/Boards, and various types of cables is crucial.
