The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Managed full-cycle accounting operations for travel agency transactions using Fiesta Accounting System, including invoicing, receipts, vendor payments, and reconciliations.

Processed and tracked airline tickets, hotel bookings, and travel packages, ensuring accurate cost allocations and profit margins.

Handled BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) reports and reconciled them with system records to ensure compliance with IATA standards.

Monitored accounts payable and receivable, following up with clients and suppliers to maintain healthy cash flow.

Prepared monthly financial statements, and management reports to support decision-making.

Ensured accurate posting of foreign currency transactions and applied correct exchange rates in line with company policy.

Coordinated with auditors and management to provide system reports, supporting documents, and reconciliations.

Trained team members on using Fiesta for day-to-day operations and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
