I have 4 years of experience while working as senior audit associate and Audit supervisor at Riaz Ahmed and Co. Chartered Accountants, a member firm of Nexia Internationals. While working at that role, I developed risk-based audit plans and strategies to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying and recommending improvements to address any weaknesses, led audit teams by planning and assigning work, providing supervision, training and motivation to team members and keeping managers and directors informed to ensure timely completion of audit field work, ensured that audit documentation meets the quality control standards set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and International auditing standards, upheld team leadership by keeping engagement partner informed of the engagement progress and scheduling and completion of engagement partner reviews of work performed, discussed with client’s management the significant matters including recommendations to address the identified issues, discussed the impact of changes in legal and financial reporting frameworks to ensure clients are aware of prospective issues and their solutions and managed and build client-firm relationships and ensured that the scope of work is completed and deliverables are prepared within the timeframe agreed with the client.

I have a recent experience of 7 months working as a Manager Finance in one of leading Textile Manufacturers in Pakistan. While working on that role, i led and supervised all accounting operations and financial activities, prepared and reviewed financial statements of the company as per accounting standards (IFRS), statutory law, and financial regulations, ensured the finalization of trial balance and period closing of all ERP Modules (AP, AR, CM, Inventory and General Ledger), prepared & analyzed the budget and discussed with senior management regarding revenue and expenditure variance analysis, forecasted the medium and long-term funding, debt facilities reporting, daily cash management and other treasury activities, monitored and forecasted cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and financial stability, reviewed inventory, accounts payable & receivable aging reports and preparation of related business planning reports and liaisoned with external auditors for audit information requirements & finalization of statutory accounts.
