Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing, planning, and implementing all warehouse operations while ensuring the safe receipt, dispatch, and storage of materials and supplies in the stores, and conducting the best storage practices in compliance with warehouse SOPs.
Communicating with stakeholders and running queries on ongoing shipments, pipeline information, stock allocations, and transport contractors to direct and follow up on the arrival of goods, ensuring the availability of storage space.
Executing SAP corporate system transactions WM-EWM, batch management, MIGO movement, material movements, and SAP T Codes/Module warehouse management, and maintaining proper stock records up to date.
Inspecting the received materials in terms of quantity, quality, condition, validity, and documentation of the goods, identifying and reporting any damaged or defective items, and initiating corrective actions accordingly.
Creating/updating bin/stock cards for all items after receiving and issuing goods, and making accurate entries into the system.

Planning, supervising, and monitoring on a day-to-day basis the implementation of supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with MSF standards and protocols.  
Organizing and planning the purchase process and IR verification, conducting market intelligence/assessments, RFQs, LPOs, FOs, IOFs, BIDs, framework agreements, and contracts, ensuring that local purchasing procedures are maintained and respected.  
Improving the usage of Unifield quality data to keep it up to date.  
Ensuring that all supplies procured align with ORG standards and that all technical specifications match the requisitions, maintaining the integrity and transparency of all delivery processes.  
Reviewing and analyzing quotations/bids, invoices, and updating the information in the (CBA) form, ensuring that value for money is maximized and cost savings are generated, as well as securing that all suppliers fulfill the required documents.

Following up on shipments within a geographical area from the loading port to the discharge port until the end of customs clearance, and updating the SAP corporate system to record shipment progress and escalate any issues.  
Monitoring daily container movements (discharge, load) and (container in, out) and issuing demurrage invoices for containers that fall under the demurrage tariff.  
Sending reports to the shipping line for containers that have been emptied/returned to the port and nominating them for either loading as empty or exporting them as full.  
Receiving the import manifest from the loading port and translating it from English to Arabic.  
Identifying clients' shipment insurance requirements and addressing related issues, as well as liaising with clients to coordinate the handover and customs formalities.  
Providing strategic logistics advice to internal decision-makers to ensure the most cost-effective transportation options are utilized to meet delivery targets.
Administer shipment expediting for inbound and outbound logistics, including the documentation process for the execution of logistics operations, timely customs clearance, invoice verification, and insurance claims.  
Daily communication with all external and internal parties (carriers, freight forwarders, port authorities, customs authorities, and customs clearance offices) to track and expedite shipments for domestic and international materials.
