Engineer required urgently


Description


Key Responsibilities


Inspect new properties (villas, apartments, commercial units) for issues in functionality and finishing.


Test electrical sockets, water taps, air conditioners, lighting, doors, windows, and appliances for proper operation.


Identify visible defects in tiling, paint, cabinetry, silicone seals, glass fittings, and plumbing fixtures.


Use inspection tools such as digital moisture meters, thermal cameras, and electrical socket testers.


Prepare illustrated, user-friendly inspection reports that highlight issues with photo evidence.


Offer basic recommendations or notes to the client regarding faults or inconsistencies.


Handle inspections using mobile tablets/apps and ensure clear documentation.


Communicate effectively with the Wasla team to schedule appointments and improve service quality.


Qualification and Skills


Omani Driving Licence


Diploma or certificate in civil/architectural drafting, construction, or facilities-related field preferred.


Previous experience in facility handover, finishing quality inspection, or home maintenance roles is an advantage.


Strong attention to detail, especially related to fittings and finish quality.


Ability to use digital tools, mobile inspection apps, and standard measuring devices.






Friendly and professional demeanor with clear reporting and communication skills.


Good knowledge of Arabic and English preferred
