Job Description
What you will be doing:
The Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring a seamless, luxurious, and relaxing experience for all spa guests. This role involves maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards, providing excellent guest service, and supporting day-to-day operations of the spa and wellness facilities. The ideal candidate is attentive, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience in a prestigios environment.
- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to spa and recreation facilities.
- Assist guests with facility orientation, answer inquiries, and handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Support front-of-house operations including appointment check-ins and VIP guest services.
- Ensure all spa and recreation areas, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, pools, and fitness zones, are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Prepare treatment rooms between sessions by changing linens and replenishing products and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels for towels, amenities, and equipment; report shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
- Monitor and maintain the ambiance through control of lighting, temperature, and music.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the spa and recreation facilities.
- Maintain logs of daily activities, cleaning schedules, and equipment checks.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to ensure guest safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with spa therapists and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene policies and protocols at all times.
- Follow all brand standards and operating procedures to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and guest care.
- Assist in emergency procedures if necessary and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in spa, wellness, hospitality, or recreation facility roles preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Knowledge of basic safety and first aid principles is advantageous
