    Job Summary
    Uptown Cheapskate is looking for a Store Manager to drive sales, inspire a high-performing team, and create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

    What You’ll Do:Sales & Store Performance

    • Manage the buying of high-quality inventory with accurate pricing
    • Oversee the inventory cycle, including backstocking, markdowns, and timely processing of seasonal merchandise
    • Monitor sales trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming shopping experience
    • Execute marketing strategies, including social media engagement and in-store promotions

    Team Leadership & Training

    • Recruit, hire, and train employees for various store roles
    • Foster a positive, high-energy work environment
    • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance coaching
    • Develop Shift Leads, Gatekeepers, Buyers, and Assistant Managers
    • Manage scheduling and labor and meet monthly labor goals

    Store Operations & Organization

    • Ensure the sales floor is full, organized, and visually appealing
    • Manage inventory, markdowns, and merchandising
    • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, supplies, and store upkeep
    • Maintain compliance meeting franchise standards

    Community Engagement & Marketing

    • Lead local marketing efforts and build strong customer relationships
    • Oversee store social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
    • Encourage customer reviews and feedback to enhance store reputation

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Two or more years of retail management experience (preferred in resale or fashion)
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to drive sales and build a motivated team
    • Organized and efficient in a fast-paced retail setting
