Program Summary




KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.




Job Summary




The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Firefighter responsible performing fire structural & ARFF fire suppression, hazardous materials, technical rescue, and medical response operations.  Ultimately receive & execute fire ground orders to mitigate emergency situations. Responds to fire alarms and combats fire requiring the full range of firefighting tasks involving structures, equipment, and other facilities. Responds to hazardous materials incidents as an Operations level responder. Responds to on-site accidents/emergencies to provide basic life support and non-invasive emergency procedures.   




Roles and Responsibilities



• The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Firefighter responsible for performing fire structural & ARFF suppression, hazardous materials, technical rescue, EMS, operations.  Ultimately receive & execute fire ground orders to mitigate emergency situations
• Responds to fire alarms and combats fire requiring the full range of firefighting tasks involving structures, equipment, and other facilities
• Performs operational checks/maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Inspects buildings for hazardous conditions and compliance to fire code standards. Instructs on fire prevention practices; conducts evacuation drills
