Full job description

Small AAHA accredited practice in Lebanon TN is accepting applications for a full time veterinary receptionist.

We are looking for an OUTSTANDING customer service professional who enjoys interacting with people both in person and over the phone...and of course their wonderful pets!

We desire enthusiastic, outgoing individuals who enjoy interaction with people, and are motivated to continually improve.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with paperless patient records and a high comfort level with computers in general. You must be a team player, detail oriented, reliable, and willing to continuously increase your skills. Multi-tasking capacities are required!

Essential Functions:

Fast paced & High Stress

Perform opening procedures

Prepare records, consent forms, etc.

Prepare information packets for new clients

Admit patients

Present invoices, receive payment and prepare estimates

Handle telephone calls

Schedule appointments and surgeries

Greet clients and patients in a friendly manner

Dispense medications, pet food and supplies.
