Architectural Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting: Create detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Dx Max, Photoshop,..

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and translate conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain construction documents, including floor plans, site plans, and building specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Quality Assurance: Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications, making necessary revisions as needed.

Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to convey design intent, resolve technical issues, and coordinate project deliverables.

Research: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural drafting to enhance skills and improve project outcomes.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges and conflicts during the drafting process, seeking input from project team members as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in architecture, drafting, engineering, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications or training in CAD software may be advantageous.

Experience: Proven experience of 5 years in architectural drafting or related roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical proficiency and attention to detail.

Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Dx Max, Photoshop,..

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of architectural principles, construction techniques, and building codes/regulations. Familiarity with sustainable design practices is a plus.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs within project deadlines.
