Barakat is Hiring: Senior Buyer – Procurement (Fresh Produce)

#vegetables? Do you thrive in the fast-paced world of international procurement and sea/air freight logistics? If yes, we’ve got a juicy opportunity for you!

#Barakat, we’re on a mission to bring the freshest produce from farms around the world to tables across the region. And we’re looking for a Senior Buyer to lead the charge!


 What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing a procurement budget of AED >50Mn 

Sourcing top-quality fruits & veggies globally 

Negotiating with suppliers like a pro 

Coordinating reefer container shipments 

Ensuring quality, compliance & timely delivery ✅


 What We’re Looking For:

2–5 years of procurement experience in fresh produce

Strong negotiation & supplier management skills

Knowledge of international logistics & sea freight

A keen eye for quality and seasonality

Bonus points for air import experience
