IT Manager - Retail
Our client, a well-established leading group aimed in the retail industry is looking for an experienced IT Manager - Retail.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities within the IT data center of the branches.
- Act as a data center supervisor responsible for and not limited to smooth operations of the systems, networks and reporting cycles.
- Supervise IT vendors responsible for maintaining and supporting IT systems and networks.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and designers in the development and initiation of new
- software programs and applications.
- Gather statistics and prepare written reports on the status of the programming process for discussion with management and/or team members.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with all other related departments and units to achieve the Group's goals/objectives.
- Maintaining and supporting ERP- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
- Manage software & hardware at multiple locations.
- Coordinate with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Directing and guiding staff members, assigning duties, and making sure they are implemented.
- Ensuring that the ICT infrastructure is professionally designed, tested, implemented for new retail stores.
- Monitoring network infrastructure, LAN/WAN, installation, migration & configuration of network client workstations, manage local and domain wide groups.
- Ensuring proper connectivity between HO and stores using VPN.
- Identify and obtain the needed data and information elements required to produce analysis and information reports.
- Ensuring A/V systems, Camera systems, Wi-Fi routers are operational.
- Assume ownership of audit requirements requested by various internal teams, including regulatory inquiries, analysis, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Commerce
- Relevant IT qualifications e.g., MCSE, MCSA, ITIL, Microsoft Azure
- Hands on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365
- Knowledge of configuring routers, switches, firewall, VPN
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the Retail Industry
- Should be well versed in SQL Server or Oracle Database with knowledge of SQL commands
- Working knowledge of any reporting tools like crystal reports, Power Bi, Hyperion Brio
