GCC Electrical Testing Laboratory (GCC LAB) is a leading company in electrical testing and engineering support services, providing integrated solutions for major projects across the region in line with international standards. The company is now seeking skilled professionals to join its team.


Position: CAD Professional / Design & Drafting Engineer

Location: Eastern Province – Saudi Arabia
Job Type: Full-time – On-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update engineering drawings and IFC packages in compliance with project requirements and standards (e.g., Aramco, SEC).

  • Develop and revise electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings for substations, utilities, and related projects.

  • Convert raster/PDF drawings into editable vector formats using CAD tools (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).

  • Incorporate fire protection design requirements into engineering packages (battery life calculations, cause-and-effect matrix, riser diagrams, wiring details, etc.).

  • Ensure drawing accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable standards.

  • Coordinate with project teams to reflect design changes in updated drawings.

  • Issue final as-built drawings upon project completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma holder with 5+ years of design/drafting experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, or equivalent).

  • Knowledge of fire protection design is a strong plus.
