Job Title: Technical Manager – High-Rise Building Construction


Location: Dubai, UAE



Key Responsibilities:


* Oversee technical aspects of high-rise construction projects, including structural, architectural, and MEP coordination.


* Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and technical submittals.


* Lead coordination between consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.


* Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.


* Provide technical guidance and solutions during construction to resolve site issues promptly.


* Monitor and manage construction schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.


* Conduct technical audits, inspections, and quality control checks.


* Support the procurement team in evaluating technical specifications of materials and equipment.


* Collaborate with planning and site execution teams for seamless project delivery.


* Manage change requests, value engineering, and design modifications efficiently.




Requirements:


* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 


* 10+ years of experience in building construction, in high-rise tower projects.


* Strong understanding of structural systems, MEP services, and construction methodologies.


* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant construction software.


* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.




Preferred Qualifications:


* PMP or equivalent project management certification.


* Experience with green buildings or sustainable construction practices.


* Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks).
