Environmental Officer

Environmental Officer

Job Type: Temporary (3-4 months, extendable)
Location: Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing the Project Environmental Management Plan (EMP).

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental standards (dust, noise, waste, water management).

  • Monitor waste segregation, recycling, and safe disposal via approved contractors.

  • Support maintenance of environmental permits, records, and documentation.

  • Report environmental issues, incidents, and non-conformities to the Environment Manager.

  • Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions for workers and subcontractors.

  • Assist in preparing environmental monitoring reports for client/consultant submission.

  • Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure compliance with sustainability and environmental goals.

  • Experience with building construction projects is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in document control software (Aconex, EDMS, Procore, SharePoint).

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Candidate must currently be in Qatar and available to join immediately.

  • يفضل وجود خبرة في مشاريع البناء.

  • إجادة استخدام برامج التحكم بالمستندات مثل Aconex، EDMS، Procore، أو SharePoint.

  • معرفة قوية بحزمة برامج MS Office (إكسل، وورد، أوتلوك، وغيرها).

  • الإلمام بمعايير ISO 9001 ميزة إضافية.

  • مهارات تنظيمية واتصال وإدارة وقت ممتازة.

  • دقة عالية وقدرة على العمل تحت الضغط.

  • يجب أن يكون المرشح متواجد حالياً في قطر وقادر على الانضمام فوراً.

Lead Fire Life Safety Specialist

???? Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the Fire and Life Safety (FLS) program for the project, ensuring compliance with NFPA, local Civil Defense, and Ashghal regulations.

  • Conduct FLS risk assessments, audits, and inspections of all project activities and facilities.

  • Review and approve FLS design drawings, submittals, and specifications from subcontractors.

  • Lead the FLS team, organize fire drills, and provide training to all project personnel.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Qatar Civil Defense and other regulatory authorities for FLS-related matters.
