Procurement & Planning Engineer Job In Kuwait

Description

Gulf Center United Industrial Equipment Co. is seeking a proactive and detail- oriented Procurement & Planning Engineer to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process and developing detailed execution plans for projects involving the fabrication, supply, and delivery of structural steel, piping, tanks, and process equipment. This role includes sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, managing logistics (both local and international), and ensuring timely and efficient delivery aligned with project requirements and client expectations.

• Receive material take- off lists and BOQs from the Quantity Surveyor for all scopes of work (structural steel, piping, tanks, and process equipment).

• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) to both local and international suppliers, ensuring clarity in specifications and delivery terms.

• Collect, compare, and organize supplier quotations and forward them to the Estimation & Proposal Engineer for commercial evaluation.

• Develop and maintain detailed process plans covering all stages, including material receiving, storage, fabrication, welding, inspection, and final delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 2- 10 years of experience in procurement, planning, or technical office roles within the industrial or fabrication sector.
