Required jobs in Naufar Hospital company and their details:

1. Expressive Art Therapist

Job Requirements:

  • Professional/Academic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Science (Arts, Psychology, Sociology, Nursing or Counseling)
  • Master’s degree/ Post Graduate degree or equivalent in Art Therapy OR Music therapy OR Drama Therapy OR Expressive Arts Therapy.
  • Arts with integrated credited courses in psychology, sociology, counseling, and human behavior for children, young and adults.
  • Psychology with integrated credited courses in Arts and art practice.
  • Certification/ Licensure:
  • Valid Primary license from the country of origin as registered professional member with recognized Art therapy Association recognized by ministry of health in the same country. (IEATA, AATA, ECArTE, CATA/ACAT, BADTH.) “if applicable”
  • Eligible for license from the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar.
  • Up-to date CPD in relevant clinical/counselling psychology areas.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ full time of Art therapy practice in clinical setting, social, education or rehabilitation centers.
  • Multidisciplinary experience across the fields of mental and physical health.
  • Previous experience in area of personality disorders treatment and/or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

2. Nurse Technician

Job Requirements:

  • Professional/Academic Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Nursing or other health-related subject from an accredited university/school.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in health-related field
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Practical with good time-keeping skills and ability to understand and deliver on daily tasks.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of nursing care as applied to the mental health or addictions field.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and accommodate change in the workplace.
  • Proficient use of the English language (must) & Arabic language (must) spoken and written.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use management information systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

3. Nurse

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing.
  • 3 years of experience in Nursing, includes 1 year experience in mental health or Addiction.
  • Valid Primary license from the country of origin.
  • Eligible for license from the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice Healthcare Profession.
  • Strong command of English and Arabic.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

4. Psychiatrist Consultant

Job Requirements:

  • Post-graduate training and/or experience in the treatment of substance use disorder.
  • Minimum of one from the below list is an essential requirement;
  • Arab Board of Health Specializations
  • USA – The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
  • Canada – Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS-C)
  • UK – GMC/CCST Specialist Register
  • Germany – Fachartz Specialist Certificate
  • Sweden – Swedish Board
  • Australia and New Zealand – Fellowship from the Royal Australia and New Zealand Colleges
  • Specialist registration from other countries will be considered after an equivalence review

5. Psychiatrist Specialist

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrate ability to make a detailed assessment of and detect presence of substance misuse related physical and psychological complications
  • Recognize the wide range of acute and long-term presentations involving use of alcohol and other drugs (e.g. trauma, depression, hypertension)
  • Initiate appropriate pharmacotherapy for alcohol/drug dependence when indicated
  • Ability to safely induct and manage opiate dependent patients on to substitute treatment
  • Provide both outpatient and inpatient medical management of withdrawal syndromes
  • Provide counselling for an individual using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Able to assess, investigate and manage common medical disorders and refer to appropriate healthcare facilities when indicated
  • Good written English skill to documenting patient notes in EMR and writing reports
  • Excellent spoken English to contribute and/or lead meetings
