Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager for our group of companies, you will have a multifaceted role, combining leadership in financial management with strategic analysis and portfolio management responsibilities. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance department while guiding the group on investment strategy to maximize returns and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Lead and manage the Finance department, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions across all subsidiaries.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Monitor the cash flow, liquidity, and financial health of the group, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.

Strategic Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market trends.

Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing financial expertise to drive growth initiatives and optimize resource allocation.

Portfolio Management:

Manage the investment portfolio of the group, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.

Conduct thorough research and analysis of investment opportunities, assessing potential risks and returns, to inform investment decisions.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external investment managers, brokers, and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the portfolio.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Provide guidance and support to team members, empowering them to fulfill their responsibilities effectively and achieve their professional goals.

Promote a positive work environment based on integrity, accountability, and transparency.

Qualifications:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

Proven experience (5 years) in financial management, preferably in a multi-entity environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.

Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and contribute to organizational growth initiatives.

Solid understanding of investment principles and portfolio management techniques.

Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365) systems and financial modeling software
