Support the transition of payroll processing performed by a third-party, to in-house processing

Develop and formalize payroll processing processes, procedures, and associated controls

Responsible for semi-monthly payroll processing and journal entry creation; ensure payroll transactions are processed correctly for time, earnings, bonuses, paid time off, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other items that affect pay and company liability.

Help develop scalable processes, policies and compliances across our payroll, timekeeping and benefit invoicing practices; accounting to develop proper internal control policies, procedures and documentation for compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1+ years of experience administering payroll, and payroll systems.

Knowledge of payroll, and processes including Federal and multi-state tax regulations.

1+ years of payroll software experience, preferably Paycom system.

Detail-orientated with a passion for quality control and accuracy.

Ability to think and plan ahead and anticipate problems, issues and provide solutions while managing hard deadlines.

Effective customer service skills; able to break down complex processes into simple steps for users.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
