Key Responsibilities

???? Project Definition & Collaboration

• Define project objectives, deliverables, and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Ensure that project goals and deliverables align with stakeholders' expectations and business requirements.

????️ Technical Oversight & Mentorship

• Provide technical oversight to the engineering team, ensuring the application of industry standards and best practices.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to ensure professional development and high-quality output.

????️ Project Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed project execution plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.

• Coordinate engineering activities to ensure the alignment of project goals and successful delivery of project milestones.

???? Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between various project functions, including engineering, procurement, and construction.

⚙️ Engineering Solution Implementation

• Oversee the implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring they are aligned with project requirements, safety standards, and regulations.

???? Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure that all engineering solutions comply with relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

• Lead efforts to maintain quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, etc.).

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering within the refinery or downstream sectors.

• Proven leadership experience in managing complex engineering projects.

• Strong technical expertise in project planning, execution, and closeout.

• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with HSE standards and regulatory requirements in the refinery and downstream sectors.

• خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في هندسة المشاريع ضمن قطاع التكرير أو المنبع/الأسفل.

• خبرة قيادية مثبتة في إدارة المشاريع الهندسية المعقدة.

• خبرة فنية قوية في التخطيط والتنفيذ وإغلاق المشاريع.

• القدرة على إدارة فرق متعددة الوظائف والتعاون بشكل فعال مع الأطراف الداخلية والخارجية.

• مهارات اتصال وتنظيم ممتازة.

• الإلمام بمعايير HSE والمتطلبات التنظيمية في قطاعات التكرير والأسفل.

Wood is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to join its dynamic Projects team. This role is crucial in delivering FEED and Detailed Design (DD) scopes, ensuring the highest standards in Civil Engineering, and focusing on various aspects of design and infrastructure.

???? Key Responsibilities

????️ Engineering & Design Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and approve Civil Engineering deliverables.

• Perform Design Methodology for complete building elements and Oil & Gas equipment, including Dynamics, Earthquake engineering, infrastructural facilities, and drainage systems.

• Design and review systems for sewer systems and other civil infrastructures.

???? Project Execution & Quality

• Execute technical work for FEED and DD within the designated Cost, Time, and Resource (CTR) parameters.

• Conduct discipline and inter-discipline checks to ensure compliance with standards.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all design work throughout the project phases.

???? Collaboration & Coordination

• Coordinate with other engineering teams for multidisciplinary reviews.

• Support technical assessments and facilitate project progress within timeframes and budget constraints.

???? Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design stages, especially in Oil & Gas projects.

• Solid background in designing structural elements, drainage, sewer systems, and other civil engineering infrastructure.

• Expertise in Dynamics, Earthquake engineering, and project coordination.

• Ability to check, review, and approve engineering and design deliverables.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
