Construction Superintendent 

Responsibilities

  •  Lead the phases of the project including technical detailed design scope and endeavor to bring out the best strategies and approaches to deliver the technical requirements. 
  •  Ensure Safety and Quality control procedures are followed during the execution of all work and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all design work 
  •  Lead and participate in the pre and post contract award in discussions with Asset Owners to assess and assist in the definition of user requirements. 
  •  Follow up project deliverables and participate in project reviews. 
  •  Solve Project execution challenges that are recognized during the development of the project 
  •  Conduct or supervise site for accuracy of project progress. 
  •  Guide young engineers in related matters 
  •  Other related works 

Experience

  • Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects
  • Construction Management and Site Management focus
  • Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience
  • Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language
