1. Research Senior Officer- Agency
As a Research Senior Officer at beIN, you will be a vital member of the Group Analytics team, playing a key role in shaping our understanding of customer and viewer needs. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders across various departments (product, marketing,technology etc.) to design, execute, and analyze primary and secondary research projects, focusing on customer experience, product usability, pricing, and market trends. This role requires a proactive, data-driven individual with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead & Execute Research Projects: Independently manage the full lifecycle of research projects, from design (e.g., questionnaire/discussion guide development, sampling strategy) to data analysis, validation, and reporting. This includes managing timelines, budgets, and collaborating with external research agencies.
- Develop & Analyze Data: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of research data, leveraging appropriate methodologies to derive actionable insights. Create compelling visualizations and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to define research objectives, interpret results, and present findings to stakeholders at all levels. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
- Insight Management & Dissemination: Contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal insight repository. Develop and distribute regular reports and newsletters highlighting key findings and trends.
- Agency/Partner Management : Be the focal point person for our collaboration with research agencies across a broad array of projects
- Input into the negotiation, commissioning, design, execution, and delivery of research projects in in MENA. Account manage beIN’s existing relationships with research agencies across MENA,and seek out new agencies to support beIN’s Doha business.
- Research Roadmap Development & Tracking: Support the Research Manager in developing the annual research roadmap through consultation with key stakeholders across the business. Track progress against the roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of research projects and reporting on key milestones
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You are customer-focused Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience in delivering digital project; experience in sport or media/OTT products/projects as a strong plus.
- English language fluency; Arabic and other language skills extremely valuable.
- You are passionate, engaging, flexible and persuasive – able to engage across a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulate strategic vision to key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data & metrics to back assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
- A multidisciplinary approach to solving problems.
- Passion and enthusiasm for everything digital and, ideally, sports and entertainment.
- Customer-centric and outcome-focused approach to delivery.
- Strong track record in a Project Manager, Product Owner/Manager role, working in distributed scaled agile teams, preferably spanning multiple countries and cultures.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, management and consulting skills to draw out the real business needs.
- Pragmatism to support product team in building a roadmap to that makes the right trade-off between scope and speed to maximize the value created by the development team.
- Ability to priorities and multi-task with a flexible approach to work with changing deadlines and scope.
2. Encryption Engineer/Specialist
The Encryption Engineer/Specialist is responsible to Operate, Maintain and Monitor the Head end of Conditional Access systems, and provide the required system configuration and technical support. This including daily operation, System check-ups, analyzing, troubleshooting and fixing technical problems; investigating system vulnerabilities and suspicious systems activity; documenting support processes and ensuring effective communication occurs; recommending and implementing appropriate and timely resolutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform installation, Upgrade, testing of the Head End CA system of IRDETO, and Synamedia CA systems and other technical services configuration related to CA systems.
- Deploy End-to-End configuration of the Encrypted TV-linear DTH services and perform the required acceptance Tests and verifications.
- Perform the required Daily operation and Check –UPS with accepted specifications/results.
- Perform the required support of the CA –Events scheduling.
- Coordinate with Compression/Teleport teams and operators to ensure high quality of encryption services.
- Analyse, report system defects, and suggest solutions.
- Responsible for testing & deploying new CA related functions/features/enhancements.
- Support the CA HE related Antipiracy testing and operations.
- Support the STB images testing/deployment.
- Participate in Planning, evaluation, design, implementation, and rollout of different encryption related projects.
- Participate in preparing technical documents, manuals, CRs and guidelines whenever is required.
- Create/support the team in creating the incident reports and RCAs and participate in technical calls to report any issues.
- Perform Encryption systems maintenance and provide support for services required as assigned.
- Provide needed technical assistance and support for call centre staff.
- Suggest recommendations for future systems growth and update.
- Attend related subject domain (seminars, workshops, demos and conferences)
- Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested
