Quality Control Inspector


Role Overview:


As an Inspector for LQ module fabrication and outfitting activities, your role will involve inspecting various components such as walls, ceilings, doors, flooring, furniture installation, HVAC systems, fire protection, and utilities. You will need to ensure that all works are in compliance with drawings, material specifications, class society rules, and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


- Performing quality checks at pre-fabrication, fit-out, and commissioning stages.


- Witnessing and documenting functional tests for HVAC, lighting, and plumbing installations.


- Conducting visual inspections to assess finish quality, insulation, sealing, and structural integration of LQ components.


- Identifying non-conformities and ensuring follow-up on corrective and preventive actions (NCR/CAR).


- Maintaining detailed inspection reports and ensuring proper documentation for handover or commissioning.


- Coordinating with construction, engineering, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.


- Supporting audits and inspections conducted by third parties or classification societies.


Qualifications Required:


- Prior experience in inspection and quality control in a relevant industry.


- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.


- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities.


- Effective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.


- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reports.
