Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed structural design of public infrastructure-related buildings/structures. 

• Produce design drawings and calculations reports. 

• Supervise other engineers and CAD team as per project task assigned. 

• Act as a checker within the team to ensure the quality of the deliverables prior to formal client submissions. 

• Communicate with other technical disciplines to produce well-coordinated design to ensure satisfaction of functionality and serviceability requirements and clash-free configurations. 

• Track the progress of the assigned design and report to the Lead Engineer of the status and any issues that may arise during the design development. 

• Be self-motivated and require minor supervision on committed tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering and 8+ years of related work experience. Work experience must be related to HANDS-ON DESIGN of structures. 

• Previous experience in Waste Water Sewage Treatment Plant projects will be an advantage

• Intimate knowledge of the following software: 

SAP2000 

Structural Bridge Design (Auto Desk) 

AutoCAD 

Bentley RAM connections/elements 

• Intimate knowledge of following design codes 

Ashghal IAN048 and other structural design related Interim Advice Notes 

Eurocode 

• Familiar with Revit Software
