Electrical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Dorsch Holding GmbH - Abu Dhabi is hiring an Electrical Engineer to join its PMC Team for an Oil & Gas Redevelopment Project. The role requires strong technical expertise in offshore oil & gas projects, particularly in brownfield environments, with a focus on ensuring engineering deliverables and EPC activities meet ADNOC standards and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, validate, and monitor electrical engineering deliverables from FEED through EPC execution.

  • Provide technical oversight during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC COP requirements, project specifications, and international codes/standards.

  • Support brownfield project execution on offshore facilities including wellhead platforms and related infrastructure.

  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOP, and constructability workshops.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, instrumentation) to resolve technical issues.

  • Conduct site visits/inspections to offshore islands to monitor construction progress and quality compliance.

  • Ensure contractor deliverables align with project schedule, budget, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience: Minimum 12 years in Oil & Gas, including at least 8 years in UAE/GCC.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Brownfield project execution in offshore oil fields.

    • Extensive exposure to FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.

    • Strong knowledge of EPC project execution.

    • Familiarity with ADNOC COPs and specifications.
