Rapide is a fast-growing logistics company based in Oman, focused on building innovative technology solutions to power modern supply chains. The company develops robust digital platforms to streamline logistics operations and enhance service efficiency.


Position: Remote Full Stack Developer (Laravel + JS Frontend)

Location: Muscat – Oman (Remote)
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve backend services using Laravel (PHP).

  • Customize and extend frontend features using Ember.js or learn it if needed.

  • Collaborate with product and operations teams for seamless logistics workflows.

  • Troubleshoot bugs and ensure system reliability.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with Laravel (PHP) backend development.

  • Proven experience with at least one major modern JavaScript framework (Ember.js, React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc.).

  • Ability and willingness to learn Ember.js if not already experienced.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.

  • Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

  • Git workflow experience (branching, pull requests, code review).

  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining overlap with Oman business hours.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with real-time applications or WebSockets.

  • Understanding of logistics, transportation, or fleet management platforms.

  • Familiarity with Docker and DevOps workflows.
