About the Programme:
The Making Links Asia University Programme supports talented university students from underrepresented backgrounds in launching their early legal careers. The program develops technical and professional skills while fostering commercial fluency and a global perspective.
The program will run in Linklaters’ offices in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Riyadh, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo, with content delivered in English.

Programme Includes:

  • Interactive webinars and online learning (January to June).

  • One-on-one coaching sessions.

  • Paid work experience at the nearest local office.

  • Additional sponsorship of two weeks’ salary at the start of the work experience.

  • Invitations to local office activities.

  • Focus on building confidence using English (written and spoken) in a professional setting.

Eligibility:

  • First-year law students who are native Arabic speakers.

  • Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds in commercial law.

  • Commitment to a career in commercial law.

  • Consistent academic performance.
