The New Launches Medical Manager will play a key role in developing and executing the medical and scientific strategy for the Turkey New Launches portfolio/therapeutic area. This role requires close partnership with other functional franchise leads, ensuring alignment with the overall franchise strategy.
Lead the development and implementation of the medical launch strategy for the new products, including target audience segmentation (HCPs, patient associations, etc.) and communication planning from inception to execution.
Translate global medical strategies into robust local business cases and integrated growth plans for pipeline products, ensuring alignment with Turkey's specific healthcare landscape and patient needs.
Contribute to successful introduction of new products and indications to the market; brand plan and business plan preparation; medically to establishment of the related product and marketing strategy.
Proactively provide critical medical insights and data for the development of comprehensive business cases and integrated growth plans, ensuring the medical strategy underpins market access and commercial success.
Deep therapy area expertise and product knowledge including competitor data.
Leverage deep therapy area expertise and comprehensive product knowledge, including competitor landscapes, to identify strategic opportunities and address potential challenges for pipeline products.
Utilise strong business acumen, acting as a key strategic business partner to the organisation.
Demonstrate ability to strategically engaging with and managing networks of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional associations, patient organizations, and other vital healthcare stakeholders in the region.
Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional associations, and patient organizations to gather insights, validate unmet needs, and shape the medical understanding of pipeline therapeutic areas and products.
Drive strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, value & access, health economics, regulatory and clinical.
Drive collaborative relationships with above-country colleagues to ensure the Turkey involvement and strategic input into global and regional plans.
Ensure all medical strategies and initiatives are developed with a deep understanding of the patient journey, addressing unmet patient needs and improving patient outcomes at every stage, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond and implementing medical strategies.
Lead and drive rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis.
Spearhead proactive integrated evidence generation plans based on rigorous data gap analysis and the evolving needs of internal and external stakeholders, to optimize scientific understanding and support future market access.
Contribute to the product's clinical development roadmap, identifying Turkey-specific clinical needs and data gaps, and spearheading the initiation of relevant clinical studies or Real World Evidence (RWE) projects.
Actively contribute to and influence the global clinical development roadmap by identifying Turkey's unique demographic and unmet medical needs, thereby advocating for and securing Turkey's inclusion in global clinical phase studies. This includes the strategic selection of appropriate research centers and, where relevant, leading the initiation of local clinical studies, Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), or Real World Evidence (RWE) projects to address specific data gaps and local requirements.Initiate and drive projects to raise standards of care and change clinical practice.
Conceptualize and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing standards of care and fostering positive shifts in clinical practice, ultimately improving patient outcomes through scientific exchange and education.
