Mechanical Engineer


Experience Required:


5–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within construction projects. Experience in Public Authority for Works and Housing (PAWH) projects will be an advantage.


Role Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support the design, execution, and supervision of mechanical systems in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mechanical systems, plumbing, firefighting, fuel and oil systems, irrigation, and special fire protection systems, with strong knowledge of MEP tendering and project coordination.


Key Responsibilities & Expertise:


• Mechanical Systems Design & Execution: Plan, design, and oversee installation and maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and irrigation.


• Fire Protection Systems: Design and review special fire protection systems in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.


• MEP Tendering & Estimation: Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and material specifications; assist in bid evaluation and tender documentation.


• Project Coordination: Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, civil, and architectural) to ensure integrated project delivery.


• Site Supervision: Monitor site installation activities, ensure compliance with design and safety standards, and resolve on-site technical issues.




• Software & Tools: Proficient in AutoCAD, Elite Fire, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).


• Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to company standards, project requirements, and Kuwait PAWH specifications.


• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintain accurate project records.


• Problem Solving & Initiative: Identify technical issues and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.


Educational Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory


• Professional certifications in MEP or Fire Protection Systems – preferred


• Bilingual (English & Arabic) – preferred
