Computer Systems Operation Consultant
Education:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer Engineering.
2. Certified in HP-UX.
3. Certified in High Availability.
4. Completed coursework on HP Integrity Server.
5. Completed coursework on HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage.
6. Completed coursework on Storage Area Network (SAN).
7. Completed coursework on HP OpenView Data Protector
1. 20+ years undisputed proof documentation (Certificate or course attendance) for working experience HP Itanium servers and HP-UX operating systems.
2. 15+ Years Working Experience with HP Clustering Technology like Service Guard and CFS, HP-UX systems and associated peripherals. Performs monitoring and management of these systems, networks and other systems management servers.
3. Full understanding of MOF ERP department IT current environment infrastructure.
4. Should have worked Experience in large enterprise production environment.
5. 10+ years in carrying out operating systems and hardware performance enhancement.
6. HP-UX, IBM-Tivoli Monitoring experience/knowledge required.
7. Liaison capabilities with other HP Storage & 3rd parties’ teams is required.
8. 10+ year’s practical experience in maintaining and monitoring Operating systems performance.
9. 10+ years’ experience in Computer System operation.
Five to Ten years working experience/knowledge in HP-UX, SAN, HP Virtual Tape Libraries.
11. To ensure that all changes/work requests are Planned, Managed and executed relating to SAN/NAS.
12. Twenty years working experience/knowledge in management, support and development of centralized storage and backup for HP UNIX based operating systems.
13. Ten years working experience/knowledge in planning, documenting, coordinating, and performing day-to-day operations and systems administration procedures. Make on-line and off-line configuration changes in support of operations, test or exercises.
14. Working experience/knowledge in monitor of server’s availability, performance and capacity planning across specified platforms, as directed.
15. Working experience/knowledge in supporting system users, administrators, and maintainers. Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems.
16. Working Knowledge of HPUX 11i v3, HP Itanium Servers (pl870 i4 & i6) and HP Blade Servers (pl460c) Environment.
17. Excellent working knowledge of XP24000 SAN's, XP Storage management, HP 3PAR 10800 and SAN Switches.
18. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
19. Must have good communication and writing skills in Arabic language
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for Identifying, coordinating, reporting, and document infrastructure systems abnormalities.
2. Perform scheduled and unscheduled operation.
3. Responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance and for system and data protection through backup and restore plans.
4. Develop backup and restore policy and procedures.
