We are a well-established interior fit-out contracting company with decades of expertise delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. We are looking for a senior finishing painter to join our team on a project basis, with the potential for long-term collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be a Filipino national with proven senior-level painting and finishing experience, capable of leading and supervising a team of painters while also executing high-standard finishes personally. This is not just a hands-on role—it requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver flawless finishes under tight schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Surface Preparation & Finishing:
o Ensure all surfaces (walls, ceilings, woodwork, joinery, etc.) are properly prepared before painting or finishing.
o Apply high-quality finishing coats (paint, polish, decorative finishes, textures, etc.) with precision.
o Identify defects (cracks, uneven surfaces, dampness, etc.) and take corrective measures before final application.
• Supervision & Team Leadership:
o Lead and manage a team of junior painters, allocating tasks and monitoring progress.
o Provide hands-on training and guidance to maintain consistent workmanship standards.
o Conduct quality inspections at every stage and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
o Maintain company standards of finish—no visible streaks, patches, or imperfections.
o Ensure proper use of materials and tools to avoid waste and maximize efficiency.
o Follow all site safety protocols and ensure compliance by the team.
• Coordination & Reporting:
o Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless progress.
o Report daily progress, manpower performance, and material requirements.
o Suggest improvements or alternative finishing solutions when required.
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 7–10 years of proven painting/finishing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in:
o Decorative finishes (textured paints, faux finishes, feature walls).
o Wood polish/varnish applications.
o Stain, enamel, emulsion, and lacquer finishes.
• Excellent eye for detail and ability to achieve premium-grade finishes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multicultural teams.
• Filipino national (preferred), with a reputation for professionalism, work ethic, and finishing excellence.
