Full job description

The Bowman and Landes Turkeys meat shop and deli is seeking a part-time meat cutter / butcher. Bowman and Landes is specifically looking for an employee to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday weekly. Each shift would be approximately 5 to 6 hours starting around 7:00am.

The ideal candidate should be friendly and outgoing, with a positive attitude who enjoys providing great customer service. Our retail store is open Monday-Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am-3:30pm.

Job responsibilities include:

· Interacting and providing great service to customers

-Cutting fresh turkey, chicken, beef and pork products by hand

· Using a meat grinder, band saw, meat tenderizer, scale and labeling machine

· Prepare, weigh, package, and price stock merchandise and rotate product

· Keeps meat department fixtures, equipment and area clean and sanitized

· Keeping working area clean and tidy

-Previous experience working as a meat cutter / butcher is preferred.
