Job Opportunity: Purchasing Officer (International Procurement)


Location: Kuwait

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Industry Preference: Food Products / FMCG


We are seeking a qualified and highly skilled PurchasingOfficer with strong experience in international procurement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, supplier negotiation, and managing global purchasing operations—preferably within the food industry.

 Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international purchasing activities for assigned product categories.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with overseas suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and consistent quality.

• Oversee import documentation, logistics coordination, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Monitor market trends, currency movements, and supplier performance.

• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timelyorder fulfillment.

• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, finance) to support operational requirements.

 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international purchasingor procurement.

• Experience in food trading / FMCG purchasing is highlypreferred.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor-management capabilities.

• Solid understanding of Incoterms, international shipping, customs documentation, and compliance standards.

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
