    Job Summary
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be willing to step in to help wherever there is a need. This is a role that encompasses multiple duties and responsibilities.

    You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in financial software.

    There is an opportunity for advancement based on performance.

    Duties

    • Process and record accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    • Maintain credit card transaction reports, ensuring expenses are properly coded and reconciled.
    • Assist with month end reconciliations and maintain detailed records of all financial transactions.
    • Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
    • Perform payroll data entry and ensure accurate record keeping of employee hours for payroll processing.
    • Filing and data entry
    • Support accounting team with any required duties

    Experience

    • Proven experience in Accountant including but not limited to AR/AP/Payroll/etc
    • Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word) for data analysis and reporting.
    • Excellent math and analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
