Program Summary

Job Summary
The Furnishings Management Supervisor oversees the Furnishings Management Systems (FMS) program at Incirlik Air Base (IAB) and its geographically separated units (GSUs). Acting as the direct supervisor for Furnishings Management. This role assumes full responsibility for the housing operations program in the Housing Manager’s absence. Responsibilities include managing daily operations for Unaccompanied Housing (UH) and Military Family Housing (MFH), maintaining housing program quality, ensuring occupant satisfaction, overseeing furnishings inventory, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Air Force Air Force Instructions (AFIs), the UABOS Performance Work Statement (PWS), and local base policies at both Incirlik and the GSUs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Furnishings Management Systems Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Furnishings Management Systems (FMs), including inventory, storage, issuance, pickup, and disposal of government-furnished property.
- Coordinate with the Housing Manager to oversee budgeting and procurement activities for Housing and Furnishings Management programs.
- Maintain accurate accountability and serviceability of furnishings and appliances across all housing types, including General Officer Quarters (GOQ) support.
- Coordinate delivery and pickup of furnishings to meet Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and housing assignment timelines.
- Track asset lifecycle, initiate repair or disposition, and maintain proper documentation per AFI 32-6000.
- Oversee contractor support and ensure adherence to safety and manufacturer standards for storage and handling.
- Provide furnishing support to Istanbul UH operations and ensure appropriate coordination with the Incirlik UH Office.
