 Job Opportunity: Transmission Engineer (Engineer I)


Location: Saudi Arabia


Employment Type: Full-Time




About the Role:


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Transmission Engineer (Engineer I) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the engineering, design, procurement, and project management of EHV/HV/LV Power Transmission Projects, including Electrical Substations, Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL), Underground (UG) Cables, and STATCOM systems.




Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering


Experience: Minimum 10 years of total experience, of which at least 7 years must be in the relevant field and discipline — specifically in Engineering, Design, Procurement, and Project Management of Power Transmission projects.


Technical Expertise: Strong background in EHV/HV/LV power systems, including Substation design, OHTL, UG Cables, and STATCOM technology.


Language Skills:


Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.


Proficiency in Arabic is desirable and will be considered an added qualification.




Key Responsibilities:


Participate in the planning, design, and execution of transmission projects.


Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.


Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents.


Support procurement and tendering processes.


Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety requirements.
