Cost Controller

Job Details

  • Job Title: Cost Controller

  • Location: Doha, Qatar

  • Salary: QAR 3,000 – QAR 5,000 per month

  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Requirement: Ability to commute or relocate to Doha before starting work

Key Responsibilities

  1. Budgeting and Financial Analysis: Develop and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cost projections; assess financial performance against plans.

  2. Cost Monitoring and Control: Track project or operational costs, allocate expenses appropriately, and analyze variances from projected profits and expenses.

  3. Vendor and Supplier Management: Verify costs with vendors and suppliers, maintain relationships, and assess products and services to ensure optimal pricing.

  4. Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit financial reports such as cash flow statements and cost performance indicators to management and stakeholders.

  5. Cost-Saving Strategies: Identify and recommend cost-saving measures, implement cost-cutting programs, and promote efficiency across all organizational levels.

  6. Compliance and Procedures: Ensure adherence to company systems, financial procedures, and contractual requirements.

  7. Risk Management: Analyze project cost risks and deviations, implement corrective actions, and ensure financial stability.
